The Inner Wheel Club of Salem Midtown proudly celebrated its Rubee Jubilee on 10th August 2025 at Hotel Grand Estancia, Salem. This milestone marked 40 glorious years of friendship, impactful service, and sisterhood.
The evening sparkled with songs, dances from yesteryears, inspiring speeches, an impressive showcase of achievements, and honoring of Past Presidents. The theme “40 Projects for 40 Years” stood as a testimony to Inner Wheel’s commitment to service and empowerment.
◆ Environment: 100 saplings planted by 30 members at Nagalur Hospital.
◆ Rights of a Child: 200 swaddle blankets distributed to infants.
◆ Water & Sanitation: 2 Sintex tanks donated to hospitals at Yercaud; a septic tank constructed at Semmanatham Hospital.
◆ Status of Women: Feeding room constructed, windows fixed, and waiting lounge renovated at Nagalur Hospital.
◆ Inner Wheel Branding & Family Welfare: Lunch for Asha workers; tables, chairs, weighing machines, rubber sheets, beds, mats, and bureaus donated to hospitals at Nagalur, Semmanatham, Korugur, and Yercaud.
◆ Total: 40 projects completed, touching the lives of 3,600 beneficiaries with an expenditure of ₹1,16,120.
Members achieve these aims through Club events, which combine personal service, fellowship and fun, united by friendship and a common aim to serve the local community.
